Marvel Zombies/Army of Darkness, Marvel Zombies: Dead Days, and Marvel Zombies 2 show the existence of Venom, Winter Soldier, Dark Phoenix, Scarlet Spider, and War Machine, yet the Silver Surfer and Galactus still have not discovered Earth.

Forty years after leaving Earth, the cosmic powered-zombies have systematically devoured all other life in the universe, as well as infecting the Titan Thanos (who is killed shortly thereafter by the Hulk after squabbling over food), the mutant Phoenix, Shi'ar warrior Gladiator and former Herald of Galactus Firelord with the zombie plague.

Hailing from Earth-2149, the Avengers are tragically transformed into flesh-eating zombies, aptly known as the Marvel Zombies who utterly decimate their own world.

In the Earth-2149 universe, Spider-Man, also known as Peter Parker, became a zombie after being bitten by a zombified Colonel America. This led to a series of events where he had to grapple with his zombie instincts while still trying to uphold his heroic duties.

Within the Marvel Multiverse is an alternate Earth designated Earth-2149, which contains alternate zombie versions of Marvel superheroes. The story begins as an unknown superhero from another dimension, brought by the "Hunger", crash lands before infecting the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four and almost all other superheroes.

Known as the merc with half a mouth, Headpool is a devious yet loveable zombie Deadpool head from Earth-2149. When Earth-2149 falls victim to a virus that transforms many superhumans, including Deadpool, into flesh-eating zombie-like creatures, they at least retain their intelligence.

The storyline follows from Marvel Zombies 2 when Zombie Spider-Man, Giant-Man and Wolverine (the Earth-2149 version of Wolverine is killed in the 3rd issue) were teleported to a different universe similar to Earth-616 called Earth-91126/Earth-Z, and deals with the ramifications of their arrival on a new Earth and the characters' resurgent ...

At the Xavier Institute, Wolverine and a number of X-Men, were battling a zombified Alpha Flight, when Magneto arrived, and propelled metallic debris through the zombies heads with his magnetic powers, and he asked them to help him save humanity.

It also has a sort of complicated timeline and includes a lot of events that have been undone, not to mention all the other Marvel Zombies universes that are very similar to Earth-2149.
