Mansfield College is special. Founded in the nineteenth century to allow Dissenters to study at Oxford University, we were also one of the first ‘men’s’ colleges in Oxford to admit women to study for degrees.

Living at Mansfield College. All undergraduate students are housed in College accommodation, either on the main site or in College-owned/run accommodation elsewhere. All students have their own study-bedroom, and share kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Mansfield College has a long-established Visiting Student Programme with a high academic reputation. It offers students both full membership of the College and an official status within the University of Oxford.

Mansfield has a long history of working with schools and colleges to encourage students from under-represented backgrounds to apply to Oxford – and to support those who do so. We particularly welcome contact from schools and colleges in our link regions.

Mansfield has some of the best food in the University, and at reasonable prices. Although there’s no obligation to eat in the College Dining Hall for all your main meals, students are encouraged to do so.
