Magdalena Island (Spanish: Isla Magdalena) is a small island in the Strait of Magellan, Chile. It is occupied year round by a small force of Park Rangers: 6 in summer, 3 in winter.

The island is home to about 15,000 Magellanic Penguins (down from 150,000 a few years ago). You walk along a path up to a lighthouse and the penguins are all over the place.
