2022年9月23日 · The only control button that the One has over the Live 2 that you actually really use is a dedicated Program Edit button. The lack of this button was never really an issue on the Live 2 though because you could always use a Menu + Pad shortcut to get there. Which basically goes for all the controls the Live 2 doesn't have over the One.

MPC Live 2 and Ableton are supposed to have pretty decent integration, even though it’s not it’s native DAW. But if you want “seamless integration”, you have to use the MPC software. Integration between the MPC Live 2 and the MPC software (2.14) is fantastic.

Just watched a video on setting it up, and while the video is great(!) and thorough, it relies on having the MPC software as an instrument inside the main DAW. This DAW-in-a-DAW seems overly complex and takes up more ram than is should.

2022年9月14日 · If budget is not the problem, go for the MPC Live 2: Battery & speakers (which is brilliant), built-in SSD tray, bigger pads, better screen placement/angle, Wifi, and more inputs & outputs (Phono In makes sampling vinyl insanely fun). The few extra buttons on the MPC One are not a deal-breaker, Menu + Pad will get you there as well.
