2019年1月29日 · Just like you, I was diagnosed with Primary Lymphedema Tarda and the doctors can't tell me why it occurred. Primary Lymphedema Tarda means occurring after age 35.

2020年2月20日 · My doctor said, my Lymphedema occurred because my lymphatic system became insufficient and overwhelmed. I was having several other health issues when my Lymphedema appeared. Lymphedema Tarda is congenital, but it doesn't appear until age 35 or after. Take care!

It took me 2 years to get diagnosed with primary lymphedema (lymphedema tarda -born with it but it doesnt show up noticable until later on in age) I just got diagnosed this year but its been noticeable since i was 26. Now i have a therapist that specializes in lymphedema and i see her 3x a week for MLD and also leg wrapping.

2014年8月20日 · Ask your physician or dermatologist for a hydrating cream for your skin. As we age our skin dries out, and lymphedema may make that condition worse. Maybe all you need is to hydrate the skin every day to stop the itching. Keeping the skin soft also helps protect it from cracking, and putting you at risk for cellulitis.
