2021年11月26日 · Luke wanted to make Lorelai a special dinner and Liz and TJ had to ruin that. They couldn't even give Luke that. They spent 4 entire seasons of a seven season show just to get Luke and Lorelai together and did nothing to split them up the rest of the series.

2024年6月12日 · I feel you on this. I kind of accepted that Rory just sucks as a person given her Yale Arc, so I was only truly disappointed in the Lorelai storyline in the revival. The show did hinted multiple times that Luke and Lorelai both wanted kids.
Emily disapproving of Luke and Lorelai never made any sense to me
Emily only freaked out when she caught Lorelai looking at wedding dresses and saying that he can picture herself married while she was with Luke. When Emily realized that Lorelai was genuinely committed to Luke and wanting to settle down with him for good, she intervened. Emily didn’t want Luke to officially become part of the Gilmore family.

2022年6月28日 · Luke and Lorelai move at very different paces, and for a lot of their relationship we see Lorelai pushing Luke too far. When they eventually get back together, Lorelai goes straight back to hiding things relating to Christopher from him. Luke then finds out about them and eventually they discuss it and jointly decide "No more secrets."
Is anyone else sad that Luke and Lorelai never had kids?
I think both Luke and Lorelai were content having Rory, April, and even Jess as their kids. Also consider the fact that when the series ended, Lorelai was 38-39, and Luke must have been in his early forties. Lorelai had spent most of her life up to that point raising Rory, and Luke had spent the last half dozen years parenting Jess and April.
