Got me to thinking i usually dont pay attention to how tight i get my lug nuts, i usually just get it done ina hurry and go on about my business.

2017年4月4日 · Ford Operator's Manuals USED to specify "lubricated threads" for lug nut torque specs. Now everybody screams like a wounded eagle for even suggesting it. A very small amount of anti-sieze, juuust enough to take out the squeek, seems to help with removal. Torque to something less than the max when doing this, I suppose. Haven't had any loosen.

2011年6月29日 · I've noticed my lug-nuts are ever so slightly twisted from torquing them to 160-165 lbs. I have pro-comp 6059-1079's and whatever lug-nuts they gave me with them. It never occurred to me that the torque specs might be different because the lug-nuts are a different composition metal.

2007年2月22日 · 1999 - 2016 Super Duty - Lug nut torque specs, 02 F-250 SD??? - does anybody know the proper torque spec's for the lug nuts on a '02 F-250 Super Duty? Don't know if it matters, but I have polished aluminum aftermarket wheels.

2023年3月30日 · If you search Super Duty lug nut torque on this and other forums you will find it has changed over the years. Sometimes saying 150-165, other times giving one torque spec, like 150 or 165. Pretty sure 17-19 said 165 and 2020MY brought the change back down to 150.

2004年8月6日 · Wheel lug nut torque*: Nm:100-225 Lb-ft: 150-165 * Torque specifications are for nut and bolt threads free of dirt and rust. Use only Ford recommended replacement fasteners. I have seen in other posts where this was an update to the manual to help correct warping rotors. I had warped rotors when I purchased my truck with 13K on the odometer.

2024年7月27日 · 1987 - 1996 F150 & Larger F-Series Trucks - Lug nut torque specs for '94 F-150? - I find specs online that vary - one site says 100 ft lbs, another says 85. Anyone have what they feel is the definitive answer? '94 Flareside 2WD, non-dually if it makes a difference. Thanks.
