2011年6月15日 · Re: Liver palms Red blotchy hands signs of chirosiss. The little red dots are "cherry angiomas" and are not a sign of anything bad that I know of. Spider angiomas are little red cherry's with several/many small veins radiating out from them.

2012年1月15日 · Hey There soo sorry to hear what you are dealing with, Palmer erythema with liver dieses usually will present itself with portal hypertension, portal hypertension will present itself in mid to late stages of liver dysfunction. if you had mid to late stage liver dysfunction, they would show in your blood work ie: bilirubin, ggt, alk phosphate, ast, alt etc.

My liver enzymes were only really elevated once in my 20s. 2 years ago I go in for a check up, I have mild pain URQ which he thinks is sluggish gallbladder.

I have red mottled palms, not bright red just a little, but only when they are lower than my waist. If I raise my hand it is perfectly fine. Also, it only happens every now and again. Any ideas... please. I donlt drink alcohol but used to.

When I asked my doctor about red palms and a couple of spider veins I have, this after a normal blood test and ultrasound, he looked at me perplexed and said "spider veins, red palms pale finger nails etc are all SECONDARY and can not be used to diagnose liver disease.
