2023年7月25日 · Dr. Lisa Carnell is the Division Director for NASA’S Biological and Physical Sciences (BPS) Division. Recently, Dr. Carnell served as BPS’s Program Scientist for Translational Research where she led the division’s strategic partnership initiatives with other government agencies, including NIH, BARDA, FDA, DARPA, NSF, and the USDA.

2023年7月24日 · Last week, NASA appointed Lisa Carnell as director of the Science Mission Directorate’s Biological and Physical Science Division, which supports experiments conducted aboard the International Space Station and other platforms.

Dr. Carnell is the Program Scientist for Translational Research in the Biological and Physical Sciences (BPS) Division at NASA Headquarters. She leads commercial efforts for BPS and science related to 3D tissues and microphysological systems. Lisa also serves as the lead for Education and Engagement in BPS.
