2023年2月2日 · I made the mistake of blindly updating Lightworks to 2023 from 2022. So, of course, that means my old licence isn't valid any more. I want to revert to the final 2022 version. But I cannot find a link to download it. The homepage footer contains a link for "Previous Release". But it ultimately ends up in download links for the 2023 version.

2023年12月30日 · Yes it does, but under a different name. Lightworks has changed the DVE effects to Transform effects in version 2023.1 and up. The 2D DVE is now called simply Transform, and the 3D DVE is now Transform 3D. Apart from the name change they are identical in behaviour to the earlier versions.

2022年1月5日 · I'm just a user of the software, not with the company LWKS. After the first installation, you need a valid internet connection to activate Lightworks. Once activated, you don't need an internet connection, but you have to re-activate the Free version of Lightworks 2022 every three month via internet, with earlier version this was weekly.

2024年8月8日 · In the free version of Lightworks 2024.1 we have added the ability to choose AV1 encoding on the export menu, in addition to the H264 upto 720p. That should reduce the file size, 480p resolution export is also available.

I was wondering what the major (or all) the differences are between the two. I know that the output quality is the main thing and was wondering if there were anymore important features I should be aware of before buying.

2014年11月8日 · Lightworks was originally (and still is) designed for editing feature length films so a time limit of 40 minutes would be contrary to that design purpose. Try moving your playhead to the end of the 40 min edit. Then use the Insert button (not Replace) on the on-screen console to place a new clip into the timeline. Does that work?

2012年5月31日 · Thanks! Yes, it helped. After converting to AVI with the GoPro Cineform codec Lightworks Free version imported it without complaining. The filesize has increased (MOV about 82 MB, AVI about 211 MB) but okay. But still i don't understand why there can't be found any documentation about what formats/codecs will be accepted by Lightworks Free version.

2021年10月24日 · The Lightworks free version is free, however, you need to log in after 7 days (as an ongoing procedure) to maintain the activation. So, if you don't use it for a month or two, you will need to log in again and continue to do this as long you want to use Lightworks.
