Jan 1, 2025 · Hi all, I am wondering if there is a layout in librecad similar to autocad. I am new to librecad and I have not found so far. Can we prepare it when we are in the print preview? I simply prepared my layout in the model space and wondering if I only draw my object within it. I would appreciate sharing your experience and knowledge. Thank you.

Feb 18, 2014 · Yep, LibreCAD is a good little 'free' program and as you say ideal for your hobby. Use the 'Create Hatch' tool from the left-hand set of general CAD tools. Simply select the solid fill option and hey voila - all done, just remember to select a 'connected' boundary first and as usual follow the prompts...and the continue arrows - ha ha. Good luck.

Feb 9, 2021 · Hi, Whenever I try and draw a cicle librecad just inserts one with a radius of 1, if you are doing a large drawing and move the mouse even slightly you then can't find it as it seems to be only one pixel across which I then can't see on the screen so I have to zoom in until I can then find it so that I can then set the correct radius via modify properties and then zoom out again.

Also, I need a little more help in code navigation: I want to implement the "pan on zoom" feature - when you zoom-in with the mouse wheel, the point that is under the mouse cursor moves to the center of the drawing together with the mouse cursor.
