2014年8月21日 · Ideally, the sleeping bag would be leather inside and out. A full hide would be awesome perhaps with a seam, if needed, where the bag is folded over vertically along the side. A zipper along the edges. This way the bag can be zipped or unzipped and laid out flat like a blanket.-or-Simply a large leather blanket leather on both sides.

2024年9月25日 · A Weaver Leather Supply store isn't even on radar. Tools specifically for leather craft are only available through order. Leather is the same way. The closest I've come to local leather for craft is a bag of "Genuine Leather" scraps seen at a thrift store (I checked the thrift and antique stores first in looking for leather working tools).

2025年1月21日 · A friend is a leather worker. He makes everything from saddles to bags using some really thick leather and waxed canvas. I was fortunate enough to to use his Juki LU-1508NH. I LOVED IT. It sewed through my bag seams like a hot knife through butter. What I"m looking for is the same outcome but in a walking foot cylinder machine.
