There’s a theory that Guru Pathik could be Lao Ge. They’re both exceedingly old but healthy. Pathik has spiritual powers and is hell-bent on giving Aang access to the Avatar State to take down the Firelord. Sure, he’s nicer than Lao Ge was to Kyoshi, but maybe he’s updating his teaching to resonate with Aang better.

Mar 5, 2024 · Kind of a fanfic here but I think Lao Ge and Kyoshi had a falling out and Kyoshi ended him. He mightve killed or plotted to kill someone and Kyoshi disagreed heavily. Afterwar Kyoshi killed him, Kyoshi allowed herself to die. Maybe Kyoshi couldnt kill him and its actually Avatar Roku that ended Lao Ge. I want the Roku books to expand on Lao Ge.

Oct 30, 2020 · Gurus are mortal and therefor can only live for so long. if Lao Ge is already known as "immortal" while Kyoshi is growing up he must have already been keeping his body in great condition. Kyoski herself lived 230 years before her body failed her. It is my belief that Lao Ge died eventually. No human can live forever.

Aug 11, 2020 · The greateset standing jump (heightwise) is 5"3. Admittedly, this is not even close to what Lao Ge does. Although perhaps Lao Ge did a non-standing jump which would be easier, and besides, surely an ancient dude would've had more time to perfect high jumps.

Mar 10, 2021 · It's also strange to conclude that Lao Ge believes Kyoshi will deal with Chin after seeing the entire continent fall while Chin goes unmolested. We don't know that he's still alive, that's true, that is just an assumption I'm making based on Chin's conquest being only a decade or so out from the books and Lao Ge being very good at not dying.
