Lake Elmo is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 11,335 at the 2020 census. [3] According to 2022 census estimates, the population is 13,449. [4] Much of the area within the city limits is still farmland, giving the city a rural appearance.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve has a fishing pier on the southwest side of Lake Elmo. There is also a motorized boat launch with 20 trailer spaces available if you are looking to launch a boat. The launch is open to winter access and has open speed from noon to sunset.

Lake Elmo is a hard lake to fish. Very clear water and limited structure make fish hard to catch. Tullibee were re-introduced into the lake to provide high quality forage for Northern Pike and Tiger Muskie.
