A scaffold for a staircase would be nice, but there's no place around here that rents them out for a reasonable price. I came across an idea on YouTube to set a ladder up against a wall and then lay a board across the staircase and one of the rungs on the ladder, but there's no way I can transport a board of such length in my sedan.

Big-blue and Big-orange seem to both carry a single Werner ladder with 3 hinges so it will fold into a flat work platform. The online giant carries a wide variety of no-name versions in a multitude of lengths and of unknown quality.

2021年10月22日 · The flair at the top allows the other extension ladder to rest fully inside of it. The 30' ladder was extended only about 8 feet in order to reach my 20' ceiling. The other ladder was extended to a height of about 16 feet because extending it more made the whole thing hard to set up. So the 30' ladder actually stuck out over the gorilla ladder.
