The LS6 setup pulls the pressure not from the valve cover, but from the VALLEY cover. This is the cover that resides under the intake manifold, and sits between the 2 cylinder heads. In this writeup, I'll show you what all is needed to convert your LS1 over to the new LS6 style PCV setup.

2019年10月25日 · The PCV is postive crank ventilation system not just a valve. You still need a fresh air in point. Gm used a valve cover port for fesh air in on the LS6 and later car motors, air came from the TB (air from infront of TB blade) or a port on intake tube.

2002年7月8日 · The PCV valve is located inside the hose that runs from the "U" tube to the intake manifold. It attaches to a nipple on the manifold on the passenger side of the engine, just behind the throttle body.

2003年3月26日 · I finally did the LS6 PCV conversion on my 99 LS1. Total cost was about $65, you only have to buy 2 GM parts (there was a list of four parts floating around the net, 2 of which you dont need!), and 10" of fuel line hose.

2004年1月28日 · The LS1 PCV system is far from perfect, and GM moved one step closer to a better system by changing it around when the LS6 came out. The LS6 setup pulls crankcase pressure out from the more sheilded valley cover area, rather than a valve cover.
