2021年10月9日 · With Color Control you can choose between 6, 8 and 10 bit dithering... the dithering bit depth should be 2 below the actually desired one... so if you want towards 10 bit you should choose 8 bit dithering... there are also different types of dithering .. I always choose Temporal Dithering.

Standard for movie industry is "Limited" range and YCbCr color space (420/422 chroma).

2019年9月21日 · I've got my LG C9 hooked up to my PC and I sit fairly close (around 50cm). I've recently noticed grey images have a grainy/noisy/dithering pattern through them. I can see this clearly in places like the windows start bar, windows explorer when using dark mode, epic games store and steam.

2023年1月20日 · With Nvidia level temporal dithering, it is sending information to the display that is already switching the colors rapidly, hence keeping it to an 8-bit signal. A 8-bit + FRC monitor can only display 8-bit information.

2016年7月26日 · The dithering fix is used on 2018, 2019 and 2020 panels, but the 2019 T-con has more "bits" to use near black, and the 2020 is improved even more. As per what Panasonic has also done, LG's solution is not to use the white subpixel near black but instead make all colours with just the RGB pixels, and also, temporal dithering.

2021年2月15日 · Although the 2018, 2019 and 2020 LG OLEDs have advanced calibration capabilities which have been similar, this forum will focus on the 2021 models. I calibrated a LG 77C1 using Calman 2021. I did a 27pt 1DLUT and adjusted the Shadow Detail then a Fixed Grid 9 3DLUT. I used my Klein K10A profiled to a Jeti 1501 spectro.

2016年6月3日 · When I spoke to LG support they checked with next level support I think and confirmed 10bit. Open up the back panel and look up the panel code and it will lead you to and 8-bit + dithering panel. Perhaps the uk product is different and 10bit.

2023年1月26日 · I have an LG OLED C7 connected to an HTPC with an Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. I would expect the output to be 10 bit instead of 8 bit with dithering (see below). When I play around in the Nvidia control panel only 8 bit is available if I select 60 Hz.
