Way too expensive. My four year old Armitron cost me $20, and still works fine. The Timex I'm currently looking to buy costs about $60.

We are known for making custom LEGO minifigures, but this is the first time that we have ever made a professional quality, custom building set. The process was a lot of fun and I’d like to explain how I did it and what I’ve learned along the way.

Gluing two pieces of Base plate together edge on is going to be a nightmare. Glue on top or below will mean it isn't flat or bricks don't go on properly.

February 2017 in Everything else LEGO I notices there's a fair bit of discussion on this subject on the POTC and CMF threads so thought I'd start a specific thread for the subject. It seems to me that some of the more traditional themes have been on the decline an it seems others agree.

i would love to build some of the older sets but cant quite afford the aftermarket prices. so i have to wait til lego sells them again. in the case of the sand green 1x8 brick it would be 45€/~180€. at which point is lego going to reproduce sand green bricks again and sell them via Pick A Brick. in 1 year or more like 5 years?
