2015年6月1日 · My first LEEP was done in the Doctor's office, so it was whatever she injected into my cervix. I don't recall. My second 'deep' LEEP was done in the OR, with propofol. (The Michael Jackson drug.) I had a good talk with the anesthesiologist the night before, as I'd had an extended reaction after another non-related procedure's anesthesia.

2012年4月21日 · Sometimes the LEEP procedure stimulates an immune response so your body will take care of whatever was left. I'm also in my 30s, no children, and I worry about what a second procedure will do to my chances of having children. But I have read several stories on here of women having 2 or even 3 procedures and go on to have normal pregnancies.

2008年10月4日 · I had the Leep Cone procedure done ten days ago and I'm pretty sure I have an infection. I'm in more pain than I think I should be in, and am bleeding quite a bit. Sometimes the blood is dark (like when you're spotting) and other times it's bright red and heavy. I also experienced the odor which is very unpleasant.

2011年8月31日 · Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks since I had my LEEP procedure. The first few days I had no spotting at all then I started having slight discharge that was a brownish/orange color and have since had that. Today I started noticing bright red blood after using the bathroom.

2015年8月1日 · both my obgyn who performed the LEEP and the specialist endocrinologist/fertility specialist said LEEP would not be causing spotting. The fact that 2 docs have said that makes me feel better but makes me concerned too because spotting has to mean something.

2012年9月2日 · The needles hurt so bad, I was screaming and shaking the entire time, and started dry heaving from the pain and anxiety during the procedure. I left crying--I felt completely violated, almost raped. They gave me nothing before--where it seems like Valium should really be a no-brainer for this procedure.

2014年9月24日 · Yes, the LEEP pathology result can come back with it being worse than they thought, but if so, they likely removed all of the bad cells (cancerous or not) in the process. It seems impossible but after some time goes by, you will notice your worry of cancer and worry of abnormal cells will lessen, as you become adjusted to the news.

2023年3月12日 · I had a pap done in august 2022 and had my keep performed Feb. 2023. I was told that this process was fairly simple and recovery would be smooth with very little risk of infection. After reading the forums I now know that is not the case. I had gotten my period the day of the leep and the surgeon performed the procedure nonetheless.

2008年10月22日 · In my case, yes my period was heavier than usual and seems to be lasting a bit longer. The cramps were a lot worse than usual. It's normal to have light discharge following a LEEP up to 4 weeks, too. In reading up on this, it sounds like many of us have heavier periods following a LEEP or Cone procedure.
