2018年1月18日 · Unfortunately, the Komura is a dud. I was using it wide-open at f/5 and f/5.6 and the thing just refuses to be sharp. It seems to be definitely inferior to the Sears 300/5.6. A great pity as I had high hopes for it, as its big brother is such a star performer. So there were many good shots that in the end were not exploited to their full potential.

Currently I have, in various states of repair - Visoflex type lenses- or rather perhaps for Komuras own mirror box, which was compatible with the Leica ones. 2017年7月18日 · It was most probably produced in the 1980's and is like the Komura one the second RF-coupled teleconverter in existence. It is like the Komura a 5 lenses construction but it comes only in a plastic box without special viewfinder or lens covers. As the lens element reaches into the used lens it can't be used on lenses like e.g. the Jupiter-3.

2022年3月8日 · The Super-Komura has more modern coatings (and is more contrasty wide open) but this one is also a Super-Komura but still has the blueish single coating. There are later versions of this lens (all black) that probably have the more modern coating. The Difference between Komura and Super-Komura seems the be the mount adapter.

2014年2月4日 · To be honest, the glow looks very pleasant to me. The build quality of Komura lenses is much better than those Russian/Korean lens. The Topcor 85 is setting on my friends desk. He told me the lens is sharp from wide open. I will post photos in the future when he send it back to me. _____ The best lens is the one you have with you.

2016年11月28日 · Komura actually did have a 2/135 as well as a f/2.3, and I think a f/2.5 - along with slower versions. Those earlier lenses were very well built, had wonderful multi-bladed diaphragms and good IQ. The sharpness varied, but those early lenses were plenty sharp even at wide open, but the best part is the color and bokeh.

2018年1月18日 · It is not likely to displace my Series 1 as my favorite at 200mm, but it does have the Komura many-bladed diaphragm. I expect the sharpness to be more than satisfactory with excellent color and bokeh if it is to perform like other Komura lenses. I will update this post with images after receiving it back and giving it a good shoot. _____

2018年1月18日 · Sankyo Kohki Super-Komura " Uni Auto" 300mm f5.0 I have one that never quite seems to get into proper focus, at any distance or any aperture, though (as might be expected) the problem is somewhat less blatantly evident at f16 or f22. The lens is in good condition and does not appear to have ever been adjusted or dismantled.

2022年1月1日 · Komura was once the biggest third party lens manufacturer and produced lenses for all major 35mm and even medium format camera brands. Komura lenses are very highly regarded and their fast portrait and tele lenses still fetch very high prices on eBay. It seems quite a mystery to me why Komura’s Komuranon line of lenses never got much attention.
