2024年2月23日 · The KLX140 lineup comes in three sizes (KLX140, KLX140L and the Unicorn– the KLX140RF previously known as the G model—see this excellent thread about the machine in the ADVrider forum). The RF model is the only smaller-frame motorcycle on the market with full-size wheels. (21-inch front, 18-inch rear).

2018年3月11日 · Here is a comparison graphic of the various KLX140 models: Here's a picture of mine pre-mod. There are big bore kits around already from the KLX140L series. The G is the same engine so plenty of carb, air box and jet mods have already been figured out and field tested. Here it s next to a CRF250L. The KLX140G is over 100 pounds lighter.

2016年11月2日 · This is specifically off-topic, but as a theme, maybe not. I realize that I'm looking for something in my KLX140, XR100, Super Sherpa, KLX300, and KDX200, that I haven't quite found... A compact, light-weight, capable DualSport, with good power and suspension--- all rolled into one. Maybe the Beta XTrainer is really what I want...

2013年11月25日 · After completing the MSF course and gaining her license, we went to our local shop. After test riding a couple bikes, she settled on a klx140. They had an almost brand new 2013 model that they had used for a 2 day summer camp and we walked out the door with the klx140 a new fox v1 helmet, fox riding boots and goggles for $2,100 OTD.

2015年2月26日 · Call Lectron, they're good folks. The Lectron carb is the best thing I ever did to my 300. It's been on the bike for 3 years, I don't touch it except twice a year, turn the needle in a 1/4 turn in late fall and turn it out the same amount in the spring.

2009年2月9日 · I agree too that the KLX140 isn't a race machine but it is one fun little trail bike. Unfortunately Kawasaki really dropped the ball by limiting its performance output sooooo much and making the suspension too soft for even a 50cc mini.

2016年11月2日 · Hi Everyone, i just got a brand new 2019 klx140g and added the fmf full exhaust and a uni air filter. i changed the jets to 40/100. it started with no choke but would die when i blip the throttle. so i changed to 40/105. it starts no choke but i have to give a little throttle while hitting the starter. after a slight adjustment to the idle screw, it seems to run great from the quick test …

2016年11月2日 · Seems like the KLX140 will need a shorter-than-average shift lever to fit properly w/o the linkage 'Easy enough to do with a little welding. Seems like you'll need one that sticks out from the shaft, so it will clear the side cover when it moves thru it's arc.
