2023年12月31日 · I'm trying to wall-mount two RP-500M IIs as rear speakers. I'm running into a few issues with this (that others also have run into): They're relatively heavy - ~13 lbs. They are bottom heavy. Their screw mount is centered, but has very little room above and below it. Their screw mount is 3/8", whereas almost everything uses 1/4".

I see Target is selling the 7.1 system for $1675 but buying all the items except the under performing subwoofer from Crutchfield ($10/box returns on bookshelves) would allow you to buy the superior Klipsch R112SW for $399 as it is normally $649. Amazon has it but it is back ordered at Crutchfield.

2020年6月21日 · Does anyone know how the klipsch rp 500m's compare to the Q Acoustics 3030i, in sound signature and overall quality of sound? I've heard the Q Acoustics but am extremely unlikely to find a place to listen to the Klipsch. I enjoyed the Q's, soundstage seemed good, bass was reasonable, just maybe didn't have quite the level of 'detail' in the sound.

2020年8月27日 · I have a 5.1.4 setup (Klipsch RP line, the rears are Klipsch RP-502s) and I’d like to add 2 more side surround speakers for 7.1.4. I’m debating between getting the bookshelf RP-500m or the Atmos/Surround RP-500sa (but switch set to be used as Surround, not Atmos). The price is relatively the same, actually the bookshelf is slightly cheaper.

2020年10月22日 · I've replaced them with a pair of Klipsch RP-150 bookshelf speakers and the RP-440c center, and still using the 10yo Emotiva ERD-1 surrounds, in bi-pole mode. I drive the Klipsch with a Yamaha RX-A2070. It never even gets warm, the Klipsch speakers are easy to drive. I was surprised by the highs, I like them!

2019年1月25日 · Bummer you need the 600m, the 500m has a keyhole mount on the back of the speaker! I just installed a set yesterday replacing the mains in an older surround system with a pair of RP-500m & matching 504C center and was surprised to see the keyhole mount. Sounded great and were really pretty without the grills on.
