Kirkland Signature Lightly Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks are sooo good. Especially in the air fryer. Having kids, I’ve tried a lot of frozen chicken products and these by far are the very best. The chicken isn’t dry after cooking and has a very pleasant flavor. They are very tender as well.

I've had issues with woody breast in each of these in the past few years, most recently with the frozen Tyson. My question is for people who are sensitive to or dislike woody breast: which frozen Costco chicken breast do you prefer?

2021年2月2日 · Costco can be pretty hit or miss on what they offer depending on the location. I don't have any brand suggestions unfortunately since chicken farms that are better quality are pretty regional. I generally try to find chicken that has been air chilled and doesn't include any sort of solution which helps the chicken stay moist.

The cooked chicken is pasteurized by the heat of the cooking- they vacuum seal it without oxygen, and since the bacteria is already dead from the cooking the meat can stay viable for much longer. Raw chicken that has been vacuum sealed is still full of all the bacteria and stuff it had when it was slaughtered.

2021年4月13日 · On a side note, they need to change the regular kirkland chicken packaging from the three soggy packages to the regular saran wrapped with foam base like regular grocery chains have. I would actually purchase that. I swear that one of my local Costco locations has done this like twice in the few years I was going there.

2023年1月29日 · I just bought the Kirkland Signature Chicken Wings (10 lbs bag) because they were 5-6 $ off. The label says 1st and 2nd pieces. They are terrible. I made them in my air fryer, the same way I have been making Foster Farms Crispy Wings. I had to cook them a bit longer than the Foster Farms because the pieces are bigger. They didn't really crisp up.
