2022年7月21日 · As a counter, Zabuza used hidden mist jutsu. Then we see ninjutsu and taijutsu combination and Zabuza got the better of Kakashi kicking him into the water. So far, if felt like Zabuza was better at CQC fighter and they were equal in ninjutsu. Then we see sharingan copy ability and genjutsu freaks out Zabuza for a moment and Kakashi pulls the win.

There aren't really that many sharingan users in the show. We do see Kakashi and Sasuke copying plenty of jutsu. But the rest introduced had the Mangekyo Sharingan that gave them access to more powerful moves. Also the way Kakashi used the Sharingan vs Zabuza is not how the Sharingan actually works. He was mimicing Zabuza's movements in real time.

Kabuto innovated constantly during his fight, and even beat Tsunade, and Zabuza, again, effectively straight up beat Kakashi with so little intel that he shat himself when he saw the Sharingan. But then again, especially in the anime, Shippuden's fight choreography got so (pleasantly) ridiculous that fighters from part 1 look even less impressive than they actually are storywise.
