2015年4月11日 · If the KNS pins are still stainless, they will gall and develop rough burrs against hardened tool steel. Its just a matter of time. I heard they may have been redesigned. Not sure. The Geissele pins are a bit oversize, purposefully, and made from extremely hard steel precision machined to very exacting tolerances.

We might have one on the thick side of the tolerance, but if the bosses for the bolt catch are too wide apart (TDP spec gap is 0.167 + 0.010 / -0.00), the bolt catch's width is 0.150 +/- 0.003, a bolt catch would have to be out of spec thickness to compensate for that.

2009年7月2日 · The KNS pins also have sharp edges on their ends, which tend to tear up the J pin on the hammer upon insertion. Depending on your Gen of KNS pins, you will have at least one hollow style pin, which is weaker than any solid pin. Some Gens of KNS pins allow for a small amount of pin rotation which can lead to a poor trigger feel.

2017年2月2日 · IF you've ever installed KNS anti walk/rotate pins you'll know that they DO indeed move (but less so). ANY movement will cause egging eventually. Doesn't matter if you use standard or anti walk/rotation. Hell, vibration alone would cause enough friction to cause wear. The "KNS pins stop pin hole wear" is a myth and is false.

So they are either too loose or just about a metal to metal fit in Geissele triggers Geissele pins are chrome-moly steel that is rough turned, rough ground, heat treated and then centerless finish ground.
