Kh guardian is quiet, connects to my apex and is a stand-alone. My sps are on the small side so this is more of a want then a necessity.

2017年2月3日 · I have the KH Guardian Monitor which is attached to my Apex. This is decent at giving me an dKH reading right on my Apex screen and to help keep the current dose where it should be. I have some basic programming that uses the the dKH reading as a safeguard to turn dosing pumps off and alert me if the number is too high.

2024年9月22日 · I Have had Alkatronic and they work when it works. It required calibrations often and uses a 4 to 1 reagent mix. I am looking to go a different direction this time. It will be either a Kamoer KH Carer or a KH guardian. Both offer great pros and cons. I was able to locate a new KH Carer for $599 and a KHG WITH aim for $450. Close enough in price.

KH Guardian Please keep in mind that this ranking above doesn't take into account anything related to total operational cost of the units and it is just my opinion, but if it were based upon dKH measurements alone, the Alkatronic is the all around winner. 2017年2月3日 · Secondly kh guardian does not claim it to be a standalone system to keep parameters balanced. In fact they don't even advertise it to be the only system you should have to adjust alkalinity. What they do claim is that you should have your 2 part dosing system or a calcium reactor running on your system while keeping kh Guardian as a back-up plan.
