2021年11月27日 · First of all — the non ENA Jura’s have a large 16g portafilter which means that if you go nuts and specify 8/8 bean strength it will pull what is a double shot of beans. Next thing to know is that Jura incorrectly defaults to espresso being 1.5oz. This results in either a watery single shot or a highly concentrated double shot.

2024年5月5日 · The compact size and sleek look of the ENA are also appealing, and I assume that fewer spouts mean even easier maintenance. I saw them side-by-side in the store, and the E8 looks chunky next to the ENA. We’re able to get the E8 at the same price as the ENA. However, by all accounts, the E8 seems to offer a bit more of everything.

The Jura looked a bit sleeker on design and the DeLonghi looked a bit plasticky. I am not looking to drop 3k on a machine though (more around the 1500-2000 mark) and have been debating primarily between the ENA 8 vs. the Dinamica Plus.

2023年10月6日 · I have an ENA 8 on order, my first Jura and I mostly drink Americanos, which I assumed was the 'Coffee' or '2x Coffee' on the website spec sheets, but a little more digging shows other models with an Americano option.

2020年5月12日 · I'm considering a Jura ENA8 vs the Jura E8. I'm not that picky towards black coffee, but I am towards Latte/Caffé Macchiato. I had a JURA ENA Micro 9 One Touch that I loved, but it broke. I replaced it with a SIEMENS EQ9 but their milk froth is very disappointing. So, recommend Ena 8 or E8? (Isn't the ENA8 just a newer version of the E8?)

We've been getting a "System is filling" message on a first use of the day for a couple of weeks, and now the machine is not working at all. We've run a full cleaning cycle (using the cleaning tabs and a seperate descale cycle) and tried wiping off the tamping screen.

The espresso is decent--certainly better than an average drip brew--but the shots are far from the quality that I had hoped to achieve. 2023年2月6日 · I typically do a 2:1 water to espresso ratio, using an approximately 9g dose per 30ml of espresso. The easiest way for me to get a decent size americano on the ENA 8 is to use the dopio function for 60ml total espresso and add 120ml of hot water. I have had a tough time getting good quality espresso pulls larger than 30ml out of the ENA8.

2023年1月21日 · The ENA 8 max dose is 10g. 10g is basically one single shot of espresso — what you normally get at a cafe is a “double” which is like 18-20ish grams. Frankly I find the Jura automatic programs all suck.

2024年1月21日 · You probably need to replace the grinder burrs. You will get persistent “fill bean container” errors after grinding if the burrs are no longer sharp enough to grind a sufficient quantity of beans.
