I've got my name down for a new Krampus and plan on trying out the Jones bar again for a bikepacking setup. Also, I'm 6'3" with a lanky build for reference. The stem length and height is pretty important to dial in with the Jones bars.

Nov 28, 2016 · The Jones loop would seem to interfere with ordinary aero mounts, but in addition to that my bike (Surly Straggler) has a fairly long top tube and stem, and I want a higher mount and shorter reach for the aero bars.

Aug 16, 2016 · The Jones Loop H-Bar’s are great for cement and dirt roads, and work okay for cutting it up less aggressively off-road. I find I like my hands all the way up against controls when getting aggressive with the Jones.

Sep 21, 2018 · I have the Jones bars on my commuter bike that gets ridden everyday and would not change them up for any other type of bar. The other thing I have added to the Jones bar on the Troll was a set of Specialized Bar shapers (I think they were called) under the tape near the stem. These are great and give you a wider flatter section on the bar.

Dec 24, 2009 · The Jones ti. bars are lighter and more compliant. The Titec versions a little heavier and worlds cheaper. The H-bar has a little different shape; it has some rise (1" maybe?) and actually angles forward so you don't have to use a longer stem. The J-bar is a fairly close copy of the Jones bar, but that it has a 31.8 clamp area.
