John is the lead singer/guitarist for It Bites, having replaced original lead singer Francis Dunnery in 2007. He has recorded two albums with It Bites.

John Mitchell is the lead guitarist in Frost*. He also shares vocal duties with keyboard player Jem Godfrey. Frost* have released 3 albums to date.
