
JoBoxers - Wikipedia
JoBoxers are a British new wave group formed in London, England in 1982 when former Subway Sect members Rob Marche (guitarist), Dave Collard (keyboardist), Chris Bostock (bassist), and Sean McLusky (drummer) teamed up with England-based American singer Dig Wayne (born Timothy Wayne Ball, 20 July 1958, Cambridge, Ohio).

Like Gangbusters is the first studio album by British new wave band JoBoxers, first released in 1983 [2] and featuring five chart singles. The first single "Boxerbeat", the group's anthem, worked its way up the UK charts while the group were the opening act on the Madness 'Rise and Fall' tour, [3] reaching number three.

JoBoxers is a London-based band fronted by American expat Dig Wayne, with Rob Marche (guitar), Dave Collard (keyboards), Chris Bostock (bass), and Sean McLusky (drums). Marche, Collard, Bostock and McLusky played several times with Dig Wayne in Soho clubs as Subway Sect before disbanding in 1982.
