Jiri (Nepali: जिरी) is a municipality in Dolakha District in the Bagmati Province of central Nepal. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of 13,638 people. [ 1 ] Jiri, which lies about 190 kilometers from Kathmandu, is the main gateway to the Everest Region.
