2022年4月28日 · The JBL's do the JBL thing of course which I love, especially for clean and low/mid gain. Now, my rig is stereo, and various pedals do the stereo thing all the way through the chain until they hit my MC250 and then onward to my JBL's. Ideally I do NOT use an Iridium, mainly because thats a different amp sound.

2017年9月7日 · The Fargen with the Weber California definitely is the clearest and the brightest though, even disregarding speaker location. Still very warm and smooth, that Fargen amp! I've always loved this particular California speaker. I used to run it in my silverface Fender Twin along with the JBL d123, so it's good and broken in.

2020年4月29日 · Alnico is great unless you want to turn the amp past 5. Then there's no headroom and it just mushes out. I played a BFDR with a gold Celestion in it once and the sound was stellar.
