It was a bold and “immediate” move; he had only just graduated from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, where he studied design under Bernhard Willhelm. “I just wanted it right then!” he remembers.

Kenneth Ize’s contemporary take on traditional craft has seen the Lagos-based designer quickly establish himself as a major voice in the African and global fashion landscape. After graduating from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Ize launched his eponymous brand in 2013, swiftly advancing to become an LVMH prize finalist in 2019.
