Just for the not-wise-to-the-net, when a software package asks permission to install any kind of 'toolbar' (like paintstar) make sure you select no, or deselect the checkbox for OK, it's nice that they ask these days but it's still the same stuff you don't want on your system.

2020年12月28日 · IrfanView's current "overlay" process only uses the top left corner of the overlay file to position the overlay onto the base image. You can position the top left corner of the overlay image by pulling a selection box on the base image and setting the top left corner at the point on the base image to match the top left corner of the overlay image.

2012年1月31日 · Irfanview does however now also have the ability to put back the transparent PNG or GIF onto a different background using the new Watermark/overlay tool in v4.32. Since this is not the primary purpose of the feature though there are some restrictions.
