2021年4月22日 · Yes I may have silent reflux and I am careful with my diet. I am trying to get an appointment with a gastroenterologist who specializes in intestinal metaplasia. My regular gastroenterologist says it is not likely to develop cancer from it but I like to find out more and educate myself. It is good talking to you.

Two weeks ago, I had a endoscopy in California, the resulting biopsy report only showed the existence of intestinal metaplasia in Antrum and Angularis, but not mention its severity.

2022年6月4日 · I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia (slider) about 10 years ago and have been on PPIs since then. I had another endoscopy 5 years ago with no additional findings except the still existing sliding hiatal hernia. I just had my 5 year routine endoscopy and have now been diagnosed with mild, inactive, chronic gastritis with intestinal metaplasia.
