What happened to Inky Pen? If you don't remember, back in August we saw the announcement of Inky Pen, an app for the Switch which would be like a Netflix for comics and would launch November 2018. So today I went to the eshop to look it up and it was not there.

Inspired by the 'smooth pens' post. I write too messy to write with a smooth, inky pen. What's your most tactile/scratchy pen? I keep coming back to my lamy safari (m nib), but I want to branch out into higher quality pens. Edit: pointed out below, what I'm actually asking about is tactile feedback. I didn't know the right word for it.

2023年7月5日 · Sarasa Clip in a 1.0 is so juicy. Gellyrolls are super inky and wet, but can be a little inconsistent. Twsbi Eco are super nice to write with and paired with Iroshizuku Take-Sumi will be super nice writing experience of course a much higher price point.

2023年2月6日 · I'll let you make up your own minds on which pen is best for you. Pilot G-2 (0.7mm) - The pen glided smoothly. Ink came out well while writing. Pilot G-2 (0.5mm) - Less smooth. It almost felt "scratchy" when writing, as if the pen was going to make a hole in the paper. Ink came out well. Sharpie S-Gel (0.7mm) - Wrote smoothly.

My favorite ink characteristic is shading rather than sheen. I like: Diamine Terracotta, KWZ El Dorado, De Atramentis Pigeon Blue (it leans ever so slightly teal), Robert Oster Deep Sea (in a wet pen to get the richness of the color), De Atramentis Steel Blue, Diamine Eau de Nil, Pelikan Edelstein Violet Blue…and so many more.

2022年2月24日 · Amongst other issues with ergonomics I need to find a pen that's easy to work with and doesn't need me to press too hard. I'm looking for an easily available pen (I live in Canada) that is very "inky" (ink flows out easily so I don't have to press hard). Fountain pen not an option and needs to come in black ink.

2022年5月16日 · No. If they see even a little bit of smudge you will fail. A trick is to get a pen that's not too inky and not too dry. Make sure it has ink in the pen but make sure it's the right ink. The most important part is how you hold the pen. Less smudge happens when you hold the pen with all your fingers with both hands and close one eye while doing it.

Weird app. No trial period just $8 a month. That is an odd business model. Isn't half the point of companies offering a free trial period in hoping people will forget to cancel and end up paying for a month or 2 before remembering. Jeez Inky Pen.. get with it and try to milk a month of sub outta me before I give you a ring.

2024年3月17日 · As for the pen itself, it looks like a cheap Chinese clone of a Waterman Laureat from decades ago. The authentic Waterman pens use proprietary Waterman cartridges, which are compatible with European ‘Standard International’ ones. However, given that this pen is Chinese-made, it is more likely to accept Jinhao cartridges.
