As the second largest Holocaust museum in the United States, Illinois Holocaust Museum not only honors the memory of the millions who were murdered during the Holocaust, but salutes the courage and resilience of Survivors.

Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center is located in Skokie, Illinois, home to the largest number of Holocaust Survivors in the United States. Our collections, exhibitions, events, and programs serve to educate individuals of all ages on a number of historic issues and individuals and inspire social justice.

In addition to its ongoing exhibitions focused on the Holocaust and related social justice topics, the Museum uses its temporary exhibition spaces to delve deeper into specific areas of Holocaust subject matter or explore broader topics connected to genocide and human rights.

Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center hosts a wide range of public programs throughout the year. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, including the Holocaust, genocide, and contemporary social justice issues; and include panel discussions, live performances, film screenings, and more.
