2022年1月26日 · There is this place in Indonesia. They have the ICare Home 2 tonometer for $990. They take credit cards up to $1,000. There are a few reviews on some of the other Optometry equipment (whether you trust the reviews or not) that are very positive written by Drs and other non-Dr types. But the price of the tonometer seems too cheap to be legit.

I have corneal neuralgia, extreme dry eye, and glaucoma and I use the icare home 2 and it’s not terrible. On a really bad dry eye day I would probably avoid it but I would say it’s tolerable most times and hasn’t really flared my pain.

2023年3月19日 · Right now I'm considering one from MyEyes for about $3000 since its one of the national providers on iCare's website and not the most expensive provider for a new tonometer, but I haven't found any reviews. Another option I'm thinking about is asking my Dr to purchase one from iCare that I could buy from him. Thanks for any suggestions!

2023年2月15日 · Hi all, I have an iCare Home2 tonometer, but I must admit that I haven't been sanitizing the probes very often (case gets opened, used only on my one eye, case is shut). I just replace them every so often, which is not very economical, and likely not needed since many studies show that these can be reused over and over.
