It is downgrading from quad core i5 to dual core i3. cpu mark from 3805 to 4359. a quite small increase. in general when upgrading cpu stay away from i3 unless it is 8th gen coffee lake or above (when i3-8100 has 4 core and i5-8400 has 6 core). many modern applications run poorly or simply can not run at all on dual core i3 cpu.
