2020年11月22日 · The Husqvarna was brand new with no tanks through it. 20" factory bar with narrow kerf chain. Fuel used was Husqvarna ethanol free XP+ 50:1 mix. The Stihl had about 7 tanks of fuel through it. 18" factory bar with new Stihl .325/.063 standard chain. Fuel used was Stihl ethanol free 50:1 mix.

2014年3月5日 · The 550 weighs close.to the 241c and has way more power.I prefer the 550 in this size saw to anything. Way lighter than a 261...so the 550 wins and I love Stihl saws. Buy from mesupra and it will be cheaper than a 241c as well.

2014年10月6日 · I've been running 346s' for 20 years, have 4 ported ones now. They are still my favorite saw! But I've been running a ported 550 more lately. The 550 is not faster, but has a little more power in larger wood. I do also like the ergonomics of the 550 a lot.

2020年11月16日 · Long time Husqvarna dealer Ashokan Turf & Timber up in New York reports that they've never had a cylinder head off or any comebacks on the 550xp mk2 since they started selling it. They do pretty good volume and have decades of experience. Husqvarna has taken a lot of heat about the first generation of the 550xp.

2010年8月31日 · IMHO the 550, 545, 550 and 562 were not thoroughly tested designs that were rushed out the door. Something internally also occurred within Husqvarna to cause such a decline in quality control, and at a very critical time too. I personally consider them all failures.

2015年2月13日 · Sold it to move on to an XP because I got into larger trees and never looked back. Maybe spend some time @ the dealer and let them recommend a starting routine. Typically all my huskys take about 2-3 pulls on choke and it'll sputter, then turn off choke (which leaves high idle on) and another pull or 2 and they fire up.
