We are from the desert and desperately needed a beach fix, even if it meant a 2 ½ hour drive each way. The Huntington Dog Beach was worth every minute of the commute! First, it’s very easy to get to. Just drive west! I can see how parking might be a problem, but we went on a Tuesday, around 10:30 am, and had absolutely no problem.
