Affordability, and the info about several of them folding up in level flight have pretty much nixed that plane off my list of potential a/c. I have had my eyes on the Hummel a/c for a while now as well...

2016年6月27日 · Years ago some builders started leaving one bay off of each outer wing panel and built to a 22.5' wingspan (Again, it was a couple inches short of 22.5', but again let's call it 22.5'). Hummel's testing actually showed that the UC was still within the 103 regs for stall speed with a slight tweak to the recommended setting of the ailerons.

I have been thinking about building a ca2 the design looks very basic and since I've worked with metal all my life I like the idea of an all metal design. 2015年10月31日 · Cri-cri and Hummel Bird are two successful small planes, but now fairly old designs. If you were to design a good successor how would you do that? For me, carbon composite is apparent choice, and I will pick one (nose) engine solution.
