2022年7月14日 · I learned to read music when playing trumpet originally and taught myself piano. I can easily read the treble clef but adding in the bass clef is difficult to do at the same time. That said once you learn the treble clef you'll notice the bass clef is just the same notes all moved down one space/ line respectively on the sheet music.

2021年2月24日 · You probably don't read each individual letter - you read the words and the overall sentences. You recognize the shapes because you use them all the time. Maybe when you see a new word, you have to sound it out, but then the more you try using it, the less you have to think about what it is. It's sort of the same thing in reading music.

2014年10月19日 · I'm really good with my sheet music reading (my ear is garbage though) and that came from constantly increasing difficulty in literature from my teacher. If you've been playing for 7 years but spent the whole time learning simple arrangements then they're all you have experience with. I'd suggest moving it up a bit in difficulty.
