I almost always have my laptop bent backward into a position where my fingerprint reader is not accessible and my password is managed by my employer and requires it to be very long and annoying to type in, so I prefer to use my 6-digit pin.

2017年2月18日 · He's asking to make the pin login the default option and you're advising him to remove the pin. you may want to rethink your answer. Also Microsoft should look into this bug. I see a few other posts with the same issue. We set the pin, we prefer it to be the default, but it often times reverts back to using the password.

The loading icon appears next to the add button for a short time and then disappears, but the settings still display 'Add' and not change PIN. I have restarted the computer numerous times, and each time I am asked to enter my PIN and have to go through this extra step to use my fingerprint to sign-in.
