Two turkeys dead on the spot, the others badly wounded in the snow and didn't make it past 48 hours despite our intensive care. So the answer is yes, you can easily lose a turkey to a fox.

I assume it was a coon, I had to take care of a couple last year. The reason that I question that it might be a cat is I set traps and baited with the dead turkey.
