When you b.an someone from your stream, do they still get notifications when you go Live? Also, I heard there is a new feature on Twitch now where if you b.an someone you have the option to lock them out from watching your stream entirely. How do I turn that feature on? Thank you.

2022年9月24日 · Twitch banning is there to punish those who've done something wrong. It's irresponsible to ban someone over benign things. Streamers are handing out bans like candy these days and it's really hurting streamers. It's very toxic and in my opinion a form a bullying. Just because you have the power to ban someone doesn't mean you should. It's abusive.

2022年8月9日 · I've banned someone who haven't even spoke to on Twitch because of something they did outside Twitch (a Creeper who did something disgusting in an XBOX chat with two non-consenting women), and I'd ban them again. Twitch's own rules state that streamers can be banned for their actions outside of Twitch so users should be held to the same standard.

2014年7月7日 · When someone is making new accounts you can report them for "ban evasion". You only need the person to ban evade twice for them to be banned off Twitch entirely. So write down the name of at least three of their accounts and report one of them, and make sure you mention "ban evasion" and the other accounts in the report description.

2020年12月4日 · The removal of the follower is something that Twitch does if you block a user, e.g. using the /block command; blocking a user also stops you seeing messages from that user in other channels' chats, they cannot whisper, host, or raid a streamer that blocked them, etc.

Banned users can't chat on Twitch. They are referring to when someone is banned in chat, any previous messages they had sent before the ban are then deleted, being replaced with <message deleted>. Other chatters are able to see the prompt and are able to tell that someone has been timed out/banned.
