The premise was an educational video about a “house hippo” which was a tiny hippo that lives in houses and fed on crumbs and such after humans went to sleep. For the time, it looked very legit.

2019年10月8日 · I thought the house hippo was legit when I was a kid. The end where they say it was real didn't even occur to me. I thought it was a completely different commercial after. In my defense, I was very young and saw videos of a fucking house hippo.
