2018年3月14日 · This a remnant from Selim being a homunculus. The ouroboros tattoo is a recurring mark of a homunculus, but there are other common themes that at least some homunculi share. Look for the red lines and circles , most notably found on Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, Envy (only in his true form) and Greed (when he has his shield up).

Here, her tattoo isn't covered up, unlike later in chapter 34 when she meets with Havoc on a date. The second image is from the end of chapter 34. This is after Hawkeye runs into Barry the Chopper, and after Mustang has started his investigation into the higher ups (which is shown in the same chapter).

Being a homunculus with no form, the Dwarf in the Flask was unable to perform any alchemy of his own. Furthermore, though the flask was the only thing that keeps him alive, [The Dwarf] desired to exist outside it. However, due to the emboldened part above, it appears the flask is somehow keeping him alive (though he is only corked inside it).

2016年1月18日 · The reason why Homunculi cannot perform alchemy is because they do not have their own individual soul. They are all a part of Father's soul, they are his 7 deadly sins (Wrath, Envy, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Sloth, and Pride) and are a part of him.
