Jun 20, 2020 · It's a HoloSun HS507C. I have lots of experience with their tube type red dots, but this is the first open sight of theirs that I've tried. I have mostly static range time with it, shot competition with it once, but very limited there.

Apr 7, 2020 · I have a PMR-30 with a Holosun 508T-GR sight that I have been trying to run on it. I have a Tanner Machined Products mounting plate that says it was designed for the Holosun 507c. I had tried the 507c before but had constant FTE's every round. The 508T-GR is lighter (1.8oz on my scale) so I swapped over to it.

May 15, 2023 · Kel tec has either made them or is going to make plates for various red dot foot prints. It will replace the polymer part of the slide that houses the rear sight. I would contact kel tec before you proceed further. They do answer the phone and questions quickly.

Mar 15, 2020 · At this point, the Midwest mount I have with a Holosun 403 on it will not zero. Mind you, I am not shooting distance but tried to zero it at 25 yds. I can hit an 8" steel with the 3" flapper plate all day at that distance with the post sight but not with the red dot. 60 year old eyes DEMANDS a red dot these days.

Mar 5, 2020 · Was just looking at the weight of micro red dot sights & most are around 1 oz. If you remove the existing sight from the P17 and tap the slide for a direct mount of a micro dot you would probably only be adding .5 oz to the total weight of the slide. I dont know what that would do to the P17. Probably only limit your ammo choice.

Dec 10, 2012 · Contrasted with a reflex or red dot sight, which is an LED light, that has to be "aligned" in order to A) Actually see the reticle and B) maintain the same sight picture as when the weapon was aligned/sighted. For a shotgun, none of this matters.

Nov 19, 2015 · It seems to get good reviews, is lighter than the steel adapters and every maker of micro red dot I've ever seen has an option for rail mounting. The Tandemkross rail looks like it may put the optic slightly higher due to it's thickness but might be worth it for a universal mount.
