Aug 23, 2013 · Condensers are hard to find and expensive for the cr250. Decided to just use a different readily available condenser. Originally there was only one wire coming from this ignition that would have connected to the positive side of the coil. So I rewired it for a remote mounted condenser and added a blue ground wire for the Hodaka point ignition coil.

Modifying the stock Hodaka reed manifold can be done but not easily or cheaply. So I am investigating into making a new reed manifold to accept a KX-80 or maybe CR-85 V-Force reed cage. Roger has the Hodaka manifold modified but I am going to race Diamond Don's with the same set-up you have Kelly .
